I have a few obsessions. One is baking. There’s something meditative about creating something sweet in the kitchen.
My second obsession is video games. I got my bachelors degree in video game design because video games have always been – to me – a form of interactive storytelling. How enchanting and complex game worlds are! I’m especially drawn towards Otome and virtual novels, with their heavy storytelling elements and gorgeous art.
And the last obsession is romance. I love romantic games, romantic foods, and romantic lifestyles. When I was younger, I started my own online magazine about marriage and relationships. I wanted to write articles and books on keeping romance alive in relationships. But I moved on from that and into writing romance novels instead!
“So why not combine a few obsessions into a little baking blog?” I thought. “A delicious side quest of sweet treats inspired by games and the love of baking.”
